Paint-outs are held regularly for interested Plein-Air artists. Sites are selected in the Melbourne region with easy access to coffee, food and toilet facilities.

Paint-out calendar dates are advertised in the Watercolour News (the monthly  bulletin emailed to members), on the Watercolours Victoria Facebook page, and on the website.

Thurs: 31st March 2022 from 10 am Montsalvat

Montsalvat is an important site in Melbourne's artistic development. It is a fascinating example of what was possible pre prohibitive building planning constraints. Add artistic flair and an artistic community and you have a rare blend of styles and scale. Currently home to many art studio residences the grounds make a perfect spot for a paint out. If you have never been before it is a must. If you know it well you know there is always more to discover here.

If we know you are coming we can contact you if we have to cancel.
